This is my monthly goal report, where I share a monthly update on the goals that I have established at the beginning of the year. I have found through experience that when setting goals, there are 2 important things that must happen in order to ensure that you will hit your goal. First is to write them down. By writing down your goals you increase your odds of achieving them greatly. The second thing I do is share them with as many people as possible. Its much harder to give up on a goal when you have told other people about it.
So by publishing these it is my way of revisiting my goals every money, telling as many people possible about them and hopefully inspiring others to do the same.
Finances – Passive Income only
1. I will easily make $1000 in passive income by December 31st 2016

I launched my first book on Kindle at the end of August. It takes 60 days for Amazon to make their first payment so I technically haven’t been paid yet. The book is selling, not as well as I would like it to, but for my first one its all about the learning experience. Once I have the next few books out it should give a better idea of exactly where I stand. I wanted to create this blog with the intention of being as transparent and open as possible so that means sharing with you exactly what is happening. I have inserted a screen shot of my first few sales below.
My originally goal was to earn $4000 in passive income by the years end, but with the reality of my first book and running to some hiccups along the way, I have decided to adjust it to $1000 by December 31st and will be able to scale it up in the new year especially once I have spent 4 months getting books out and know a lot more about how Kindle works.

2. I will easily publish 20 books on Kindle by using the KMM program by December 31st 2016.
I have my first one out, the second one should have been out, but the writer that I had hire turned out to be a scammer so I had to start over again and send the book to someone else. I am in the process of finding some more niches to write about as well as coming up with ideas to branch off of my first book. For October my goal is to publish at least 5 more books to bring my total to 7.
3. I will easily reach and inspire at least 50 people on TheAcademyOfLifeMastery.com by December 31st 2016.
Result: I am still learning about proper SEO as well as how to build a proper website. I only focus on this a few hours a week as my main focus is Kindle publishing right now. As long as I am putting up weekly high quality content that is enough for the time being.
4. Social Media – I don’t currently have a goal for my Instagram or SnapChat or Facebook yet.
5. You Tube – I don’t currently have a goal for my youtube channel yet.
Health and Fitness
6. I will easily run 5-6 days a week for a minimum total of 30km’s.
Result: Some weeks are better then others. I really need to be most consistent with this if I am going to be running my first marathon. You can follow my progress here
I will easily complete my first marathon by December 11th 2016. – CANCELLED
Result: I waited too long and they have closed registration for this year. I will sign up for 2017’s marathon though as soon as it opens in January.
8. I will easily do a 7 day juice cleanse by December 31st 2016.
Result: Haven’t set the date yet
9. I will easily be a giver when I can be and actively focus on others over myself.
Result: This is one that I really want to get back to. I have been a big giver in the past and really want to be able to add more value to the people that I come in contact with. I will be the first to admit that I can think an awful lot about myself at times, so I know this one will take lots of practice and patience.
10. I will easily complete my morning ritual 6 days/week by December 31st 2016.
Result: On track most weeks.
11. I will easily eat healthy and vibrant food to ensure that I have the energy to accomplish all that I want.
Result: I have been getting back to having smoothies each morning which I have noticed a nice increase in energy afterwards. Eating healthy in Mexico has been a much larger challenge then I had imagined vs. in Vancouver. In Vancouver there are so many more options as its a much larger part of everyones lifestyle. Here I am still trying to find healthy places to eat and more importantly better places to buy fresher vegetables, as well as other things for my smoothies and regular meals. It’s an on going process.
12. I will easily read at least 5 books by December 31st 2016.
Result: I think reading is one of the most important things that you can do for your self. Not only do you get to sit down and have conversations with the phenomenal people that you are reading about, but all it takes is just one idea from one book to completely change the course of your life. Its just up to you to discover which book that one idea is in. I would always make my reading goals to read 50 books or 20 books in a year and last year I read less then 2, when I reflected on that this year I was so disgusted by that that I made the decision to change starting that day. I realized that I was making it to complicated and that I had to just break down the goal into something smaller and more importantly know exactly which books I was going to read. I have already surpassed the number of books from last year and it feels great.

Result: We need to be more active in scheduling these.
