This is my recap of my first week of training.
I did 4 runs for a total of 12kms.

It was great getting back into running. Of course, it was a bit painful at times. My legs are pretty out of shape and I wasn’t able to make it around the 3.1km loop without stopping once all week, but I know that will improve as my training progresses.

The main thing that I wanted to accomplish this week was just getting back out there and running! I wasn’t too concerned with distance or anything I knew that the hardest part of my training was going to be the first couple weeks getting back to the routine of running. Next week I will focus on getting around the loop nonstop and will put some more focus on stretching. Of course, I will also need to look more closely at my training schedule to see how many weeks it has for training. That could change what I do next week for sure.

I am looking forward to doing these weekly blog posts along with my videos to reflect and review my progress as I see this to be the start of a whole new adventure for myself.
