September 2017 – Income and Goal Report

Here is my monthly income and goals report where I break down all my expenses, revenue and goals for the month. I do this for two reasons, 1. By sharing my goals with you it forces me to stay accountable and know where I am at each and every month. 2. I do it to inspire you and show you exactly what it takes to create a passive income lifestyle. I want this site to be a blueprint for you, so if you choose to take that first step and pursue a more freedom bound lifestyle, you have all the tools you need.

***All money in USD***

I have started working with my Kindle Manager to take over the day to day operations of my publishing business, I will keep documenting the process so I can share those results with you as well.

I will easily create 100% of my income from different passive income revenue streams by December 31st 2017 so that my wife and I can no longer have to work ‘regular’ jobs and have the freedom to live life on our terms.

I could not be happier with what I am doing. It’s challenging and so rewarding at the same time. Nothing gives me more excitement than the rush of grinding and working on my craft each and every day. Of course, the income potential is one of my main motivators so I can live the life I want and provide for my family the way I want. Decided to go all in on my Passive Income Lifestyle was the best thing I could have ever done. Within the next year (12 months) my wife should be done with her job as well and we will both be financially free.

I will easily pay off the remaining debt that I have by December 31st 2017

Results: I am super excited about this one. I grew up thinking that debt was not a big deal and accumulated some by just living beyond my means and buying things that I need. So we have been extremely aggressive on this front paying off debt and not accumulating any more debt by any means. Its a great feeling knowing that you are almost completely debt free!

I will easily become a master of my finances and improve in areas where I need to improve on by reading books and seeking out mentors who are getting results that I want.

Results: By doing these monthly reports it forces me to know where I am with my business income all the time. I love that! The fact that we have more money saved than ever before is a great indication that we are on the right track.

Business:

I will easily grow my Kindle Publishing business to generate $5,000 per month by April 30th 2017 and have it at $10,000 per month by August 1st 2017.

Results: I haven’t hit either milestone only because after getting a mentor my focus shifted on to some other areas in my businesses that would be more inline with my goals. Now that I have hired a Kindle Manager to help run my publishing business I am focusing on training him and helping him get the publishing part of my income past the 5K a month mark.

I will easily look into creating a Kindle Publishing course to launch in 2018

Results: ACCOMPLISHED on April 28th 2017. www.myselfpublishingblueprint.com

I will help 1000 people make their first $1000 online through Kindle publishing by December 31st 2017.

Result: I am all in on this goal! This has lit a fire in me like nothing before. The fact that I am able to help others get the same feeling that I have been able to get from making my first $1000 with Kindle publishing is just incredible. Impacting and helping other create what they want for themselves is what I really do enjoy and thankful am very good at. I am looking forward to accomplishing this goal as fast as possible!

I will easily commit to producing a minimum of bi-weekly blog posts (26 total) for all of 2017.

Results: ACCOMPLISHED 43 total so far. Since I have hired someone to help turn my videos into actual blog posts this has really sped up this goal.

I will easily start Affiliate Marketing by December 31st 2017.

Results: I have started this on my own, but I don’t have a niche site or anything like that up yet. This will be more of a focus once I am working on my blog full time, hopefully in the next 2-3 months. Although this has not been a large focus, I am earning a couple hundred dollars a month with different affiliate programs that I am a part of.

I will easily reach 10,000 people monthly through my blog by December 31st 2017.

What will you accomplish in 2017?

The biggest mistake people make when setting goals is never checking in on them or measuring them regularly, that is why I commit to posting monthly updates on my progress, not to brag but to force me to consistently check in on my progress and reevaluate where I am.

I encourage you to make sure that you’ve clearly set your goals for 2017 and to even publicly share them, just as I’m doing right now.

You can share them with your friends, family, on Facebook, via e-mail, on your blog, or even as a comment below.

Again, by making them public you’ll have more internal pressure to follow through on them. The people that you share them with will also likely be following up with you throughout the year, reminding you of the commitment that you made to them, which will make you more likely to follow through on them.

So, what are your goals and resolutions for 2017? I’d love to hear what they are, make them public and leave a comment below!

Expenses: $6739.04* ($14,831.9 total for 2017)

Loss: $-2125.93* ($9637.52 total for 2017)

*Included a trip back home to Vancouver Canada for an estimate of $6000. Which I can write off since it is considered a business expense. Profit not counting the trip was $3,874.10

August was such a great month! Not sure for earnings but for the reason that I was able to take the family back to Vancouver, something we have been trying to do for 2 years. If it wasn’t for the passive income that I have been earning from Kindle publishing we couldn’t have made this trip happen at the time we did. My wife was also able to take a full month off from work as well since we were able to save enough money that allowed her to enjoy that time off.

Some people might say we are blessed, I say I have been working my ass off the last 14 months to make this happen. That is why we both could travel for a month and not worry about money.

A major component of the trip was to meet and interview some new accountants. I am happy to say that after interviewing several accountants I have found one that I am very happy with and understands my business. So overall the whole trip was a great success.

My course, blog and Youtube channel are my main focuses as the potential for income are so much higher than my publishing business as well as it’s much more aligned with what I am looking for in terms of self-fulfillment. I have started working with my Kindle Manager to take over the day to day operations of my publishing business, I will keep documenting the process so I can share those results with you as well.

July 2017 Income and Goal Report

Revenue: $2916.65 ($20,147.31 total for 2017)

Expenses: $860.04 ($8092.86 total for 2017)

Profit: $2056.61 ($11,763.45 total for 2017)

July was a tough month to keep moving forward. Not only did I have a trip to the beach with the family, but I was also planning a month long trip back to Vancouver. Nonetheless, I did manage to get some important things done which will help my business be more passive come August.

My course, blog and Youtube channel are my main focuses as the potential for income are so much higher than my publishing business as well as it’s much more aligned with what I am looking for in terms of self-fulfillment. So until I have a Kindle Manager to take over the day to day operations of my publishing business, the growth on that will be stagnant as it’s just not the main focus.

I will easily create 100% of my income from different passive income revenue streams by December 31st 2017 so that my wife and I can no longer have to work ‘regular’ jobs and have the freedom to live life on our terms.

I am working full time on my online business now. Did I jump the gun and start prematurely, meaning should I have held on to my regular job a bit longer, probably. I just couldn’t help it. The potential for a life changing income is just so much higher with this and its something where the harder and smarter I work the better the rewards are. I am happy with my decision regardless.

I am in the process of hiring and training a VA to take over full time and grow my Kindle business for me up to $5000 a month and then I’ll reevaluate where I want to take it from there.

I will easily look into creating a Kindle Publishing course to launch in 2018

June 2017 – Income And Goals Report

Here is my monthly income and goals report where I break down all my expenses, revenue and goals for the month. I do this for two reasons, 1. By sharing my goals with you it forces me to stay accountable and know where I am at each and every month. 2. I do it to inspire you and show you exactly what it takes to create a passive income lifestyle. I want this site to be a blueprint for you, so if you choose to take that first step and pursue a more freedom bound lifestyle, you have all the tools you need.

***All money in USD***

Finances – Passive Income Only

I will easily generate $200,000 in revenue by December 31st 2017.

Revenue: $3078.00 ($17,230.66 total for 2017)

Expenses: $1188.53 ($7232.82 total for 2017)

Profit: $1889.47 ($9997.84 total for 2017)

Last Month Revenue: $4895.77

June was an interesting month. Ebook sales continue to increase which is great, paperback sales dipped a little bit, all though near the end of the month things were trending upwards as I released a very anticipated book in one of my niches and that book is getting off to a great start. ACX sales are increasing each month, although I have only have 2 books actually selling on there as of right now. The 3rd is still in the production phase.  My publishing course is moving along nicely with new sign ups coming in on a regular basis. I did change my payment platform around a bit so a large part of my royalties from that has not been paid out yet.

Overall  I am happy with the progress I have been making in June. My course, blog and Youtube channel are my main focuses as the potential for income is so much higher than my publishing business as well as it’s much more aligned with what I am looking for in terms of self-fulfillment.

Once we get closer to the fall we should know when my wife will be able to leave her job as well. I also have made the most important change and that is adding another stream of income from my course.

I will easily pay off the remaining debt that I have by December 31st 2017

Results: I am super excited about this one. I grew thinking that debt was not a big deal and accumulated some by just living beyond my means and buying things that I need.

I just order the Millionaire Booklet by Grant Cardone and will be picking it up from the post office this week.

Business:

I will easily grow my Kindle Publishing business to generate $5,000 per month by April 30th 2017 and have it at $10,000 per month by August 1st 2017.

Results: My Kindle business is growing each month, though it is growing slower than I initially wanted because it’s no longer my main focus. I am in the process of hiring and training a VA to take over full time and grow my Kindle business for me up to $5000 a month and then I’ll reevaluate where I want to take it from there.

I will easily look into creating a Kindle Publishing course to launch in 2018

Results: ACCOMPLISHED 36 total so far.

Results: 449

Last Month: n/a

Since the revamp of my site, I am happy to see some improvements in the stats. July will give a better picture of what areas I can keep working on to grow this over the next few months.

I will easily grow my YouTube channel to 10,000 subscribers and produce 365 videos by December 31st 2017

Results: 781 subs and 146 videos

Last Month: 626 subs 112 videos

My goal for the year is to produce 365 videos on my channel. That will be an avgerage of a video a day. I think that is a tremendous goal to have for my first year of being a “YouTuber”, I am looking forward to seeing how that affects everything else since YT is my main source of traffic.

I will easily read 12 books by December 31st 2017

April 2017 – Income And Goal Report

Here is my monthly income and goals report where I break down all my expenses, revenue and goals for the month. I do this for two reasons, 1.

Revenue: $2691.77 ($9256.89 total for 2017)

Expenses: $1223.18 ($5207.49 total for 2017)

Profit: $1468.59 ($4049.40 total for 2017)

Last Month Revenue: $1843.60

April was one of the most stressful and important months of my life recently. After coming off a successful launch of the Front Row Factor I was able to really bunker down and focus on my business again. I had 2 main goals, publish more books in both niches and really ramp up sales again and finish The Blueprint to help other new publishers make their first $1000 with Kindle publishing. I am very happy that I was able to get both done this month and they made a big difference in the income that I made in April. While the books helped me make April my 2nd most profitable month this year so far with Kindle publishing, launching the course was the most important thing that I have done in my journey to a passive income since starting Kindle publishing. Being able to help and more importantly show and teach others how to create a passive income for themselves is what truly does make my heart sing. By nature I am a leader and want to help others. The Blueprint is my way to extend my reach and impact as many people as possible.

With Kindle I was able to get some ACX sales this month as well and I also increased my ebook sales by almost $80 this month. I really think this all comes back to increasing the number of books that I have published which brings my total to 21 live and 5 that I will publish next week.

Income Breakdown

KDP: $380.61
Createspace: $1815.13
ACX: 11.03
Other Online Income: $485

Total: $2691.77

Expenses Breakdown

Publishing Cost: $767.28
Bank Fees: $9.95
Courses: $134
Misc: $312.05

Total: $1223.18

Profit: $1468.59

I will easily create 100% of my income from different passive income revenue streams by December 31st 2017 so that my wife and I can no longer have to work ‘regular’ jobs and have the freedom to live life on our terms.

My goal is to be able to quit my job by July of this year and focus on my blog and online business full time. Once we get closer to the fall we should know when my wife will be able to leave her job as well. I also have made the most important change and that is adding another stream of income from my course.

I will easily pay off the remaining debt that I have by December 31st 2017

Result: I am super excited about this one. I grew thinking that debt was not a big deal and accumulated some by just living beyond my means and buying things that I need. I will easily become a master of my finances and improve in areas where I need to improve on by reading books and seeking out mentors who are getting results that I want.

Results: By doing these monthly reports it forces me to know where I am with my business income all the time. I love that! I haven’t started reading the books around this topic yet, but I will in the next few months.

Business:

I will easily grow my Kindle Publishing business to generate $5,000 per month by April 30th 2017 and have it at $10,000 per month by August 1st 2017.

Results: While I did not hit my goal of 5K for income for April I have realized that this goal is not 100% lined up with what I want to do. I think I was making these goals cause they sounded cool and were cool to promote. When in reality what really motivates me is helping others reach their income goals. So for right now, I am not going to focus as much on scaling up to 5K or 10K with my Kindle publishing business as its where it needs to be for me to help and teach others on how to make their first $1000.

I will easily look into creating a Kindle Publishing course to launch in 2018

Again, by making them public you’ll have more internal pressure to follow through on them. The people that you share them with will also likely be following up with you throughout the year, reminding you of the commitment that you made to them, which will make you more likely to follow through on them.

So, what are your goals and resolutions for 2017? I’d love to hear what they are, make them public and leave a comment below!
