Marathon Training | My Journey To My First Marathon | Week 4

Hey there!

Great week this week, got some longer runs in and found a running partner finally! We have committed to getting in 2 long runs each week as we are both at very similar fitness levels. we did a 10k run and were surprised that we both ran much faster together then we did apart, so it was great to see what I am capable of. Still, have a long way to go but slowly and surely I am getting there!

September 2017 – Income and Goal Report

Here is my monthly income and goals report where I break down all my expenses, revenue and goals for the month. I do this for two reasons, 1. By sharing my goals with you it forces me to stay accountable and know where I am at each and every month. 2. I do it to inspire you and show you exactly what it takes to create a passive income lifestyle. I want this site to be a blueprint for you, so if you choose to take that first step and pursue a more freedom bound lifestyle, you have all the tools you need.

I will easily create 100% of my income from different passive income revenue streams by December 31st 2017 so that my wife and I can no longer have to work ‘regular’ jobs and have the freedom to live life on our terms.

I could not be happier with what I am doing. It’s challenging and so rewarding at the same time. Nothing gives me more excitement than the rush of grinding and working on my craft each and every day. Of course, the income potential is one of my main motivators so I can live the life I want and provide for my family the way I want. Decided to go all in on my Passive Income Lifestyle was the best thing I could have ever done. Within the next year (12 months) my wife should be done with her job as well and we will both be financially free.

I will easily pay off the remaining debt that I have by December 31st 2017

Results: I am super excited about this one. I grew up thinking that debt was not a big deal and accumulated some by just living beyond my means and buying things that I need. So we have been extremely aggressive on this front paying off debt and not accumulating any more debt by any means. Its a great feeling knowing that you are almost completely debt free!

I will easily become a master of my finances and improve in areas where I need to improve on by reading books and seeking out mentors who are getting results that I want.

Results: By doing these monthly reports it forces me to know where I am with my business income all the time. I love that! The fact that we have more money saved than ever before is a great indication that we are on the right track.

I will easily grow my Kindle Publishing business to generate $5,000 per month by April 30th 2017 and have it at $10,000 per month by August 1st 2017.

Results: I haven’t hit either milestone only because after getting a mentor my focus shifted on to some other areas in my businesses that would be more inline with my goals. Now that I have hired a Kindle Manager to help run my publishing business I am focusing on training him and helping him get the publishing part of my income past the 5K a month mark.

I will easily look into creating a Kindle Publishing course to launch in 2018

Results: ACCOMPLISHED on April 28th 2017.

I will help 1000 people make their first $1000 online through Kindle publishing by December 31st 2017.

Result: I am all in on this goal! This has lit a fire in me like nothing before. The fact that I am able to help others get the same feeling that I have been able to get from making my first $1000 with Kindle publishing is just incredible. Impacting and helping other create what they want for themselves is what I really do enjoy and thankful am very good at. I am looking forward to accomplishing this goal as fast as possible!

I will easily commit to producing a minimum of bi-weekly blog posts (26 total) for all of 2017.

Results: ACCOMPLISHED 43 total so far. Since I have hired someone to help turn my videos into actual blog posts this has really sped up this goal.

I will easily start Affiliate Marketing by December 31st 2017.

Results: I have started this on my own, but I don’t have a niche site or anything like that up yet. This will be more of a focus once I am working on my blog full time, hopefully in the next 2-3 months. Although this has not been a large focus, I am earning a couple hundred dollars a month with different affiliate programs that I am a part of.

I will easily reach 10,000 people monthly through my blog by December 31st 2017.

Results: 517

Last Month: 335

Since the revamp of my site, I am happy to see some improvements in the stats.

I will easily grow my YouTube channel to 10,000 subscribers and produce 300+ videos by December 31st 2017

Results: 1439 subs and 198 videos

Last Month: 1255 subs 175 videos

My goal for the year is to produce 300+ videos on my channel. That will be an just under an average of a video a day. I think that is a tremendous goal to have for my first year of being a “YouTuber”, I am looking forward to seeing how that affects everything else since YT is my main source of traffic.

Health and Fitness

I will easily complete a full marathon by December 31st 2017

What will you accomplish in 2017?

The biggest mistake people make when setting goals is never checking in on them or measuring them regularly, that is why I commit to posting monthly updates on my progress, not to brag but to force me to consistently check in on my progress and reevaluate where I am.

I encourage you to make sure that you’ve clearly set your goals for 2017 and to even publicly share them, just as I’m doing right now.

You can share them with your friends, family, on Facebook, via e-mail, on your blog, or even as a comment below.

Again, by making them public you’ll have more internal pressure to follow through on them. The people that you share them with will also likely be following up with you throughout the year, reminding you of the commitment that you made to them, which will make you more likely to follow through on them.

So, what are your goals and resolutions for 2017? I’d love to hear what they are, make them public and leave a comment below!

Marathon Training | My Journey To My First Marathon | Week 3

Well to be honest, this week was not that great. I did less Km’s then the week before 13.5kms. However on the bright side of things, did manage to find a new running buddy. Its been super motivating, as we are looking at getting together for a long run next week. That right there gave me some much needed motivation as I got in some longer runs over the last couple days.

This weekend I am going to complete a 10km run just to break the mental barrier of getting a 10km run done. I am looking forward to that quite a bit!

Till next week,

Journey To My First Marathon | Week 2

I have about 13 and half weeks until my first marathon on Dec 10th 2017. This past week I ran just over 15kms in 5 days. I have a long long way to go. I am being careful not to push myself too hard while I have been getting back into running the last 2 weeks but I can’t help but feel some serious pressure that I am very far behind my training. Even today I was planning on running 6km up from the 3.2kms that I have normally been doing but I had horrible shin splints that completely stopped my at only 2.1kms in. I know exactly what that means, I haven’t been stretching nearly enough or correctly.

This week I am going to do a light warm up and then do some light stretching and then continue my runs to help my legs get back to where they used to be.

This is definitely going to be much harder than I first imagined  but I can do it! I know it!
